POSE NORWICH QUEER ARTS FESTIVAL

Im Pleased to say I will be exhibiting three drawings as a part of QUEERFEST Norwich this LGBTQAI+ month. Further detials below and linked!

As Queer individuals navigate public and private spaces, what does it mean to ‘Pose’ in ways that assert, conceal, or transform visibility? How can posing become a means of resisting marginalisation? In a world where Queer identities often exist at the complex intersections of visibility, societal expectations, and personal validation, posing can be seen as both a form of protest and a testament to survival and resilience. Your ‘Pose’ could signify strength or fragility, fake or authenticity, celebration or survival. You could:

« Strike a Pose

« Pose a Question

« Pose a Threat

This exhibition aims to amplify the voices of artists whose work defies simple categorisation, embracing expressions of Queerness that reflect lived experiences across intersections of race, gender identity, diversity, ability and cultural backgrounds. We aim to open conversations about the nuances of posing and self-presentation as acts of queer courage, imagination, and self-love.
